Dr. Welsford is the managing consultant for WCLLC and has 39 years of experience in device, biologics, small and large molecule drug discovery, SaMD, AI/ML, health tech and combination product compliance and commercialization. With over 30 QMS implementations across these domains, Dr. Welsford has also supported varying regulatory clearances, licensure and approvals in the US, Canada, Mexico, LATAM, EU, ASEAN, China and EMEA as well as designed and managed clinical trials in the US and OUS. An experienced auditor, Dr. Welsford has supported a variety of audits at varying stages of commercial launch.

He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a specialized Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. Wes has a proven track record in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing institutional risk, and optimizing healthcare delivery systems.
